What will you learn?
This unique education opportunity is a full day session that will provide training to the importing community regarding classification of the commodities handled by two National Import Specialists. We will discuss the classification of costumes, festive articles, and toys and include a Q&A session for these commodities as well as dolls, artificial foliage, hosiery, scarves, shawls, handkerchiefs, ties, headbands, “other clothing accessories,” hats and headgear, and wearing apparel per costumes of Chapters 61 & 62, protective garments, non-woven apparel, swimwear, and sports clothing.
The session is designed to be highly interactive. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring samples, pictures and/or sketches for a show-and-tell and hands-on expert advice. Bring any and all questions relating to the commodities handled by these specialists.
Additional benefit of attending:
Take advantage of this great opportunity! This seminar offers a tremendous value for the import community—to bring your questions and samples to a lively, face-to-face, interactive seminar with the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) National Import Specialists for these commodities is a rare and priceless opportunity.
This is an excellent opportunity for importers to fulfill the informed compliance obligation that every importer has under the Customs Modernization Act.
