This is important for avoiding risk, since failing to comply with these trade rules, even accidentally, can lead to serious consequences. Ben Child— Livingston International

Ben Child

Ben Child is a Global Solutions Director at Livingston International, who partners with clients to develop international trade solutions that align with their strategic needs. With more than a decade of experience leading trade operations, Ben recognizes the complexities organizations face today and a one-size-fits-all solution is rarely the answer. Rather, it is taking a holistic approach of identifying the various functions that interact within each organization and ensuring the right people, processes, and technology are all rowing in the same direction.

Ben’s experience comes from serving in senior roles within a variety of industries. Prior to joining Livingston International Ben was Director of International Trade for Vista Outdoor Inc., a global leader in outdoor sports and recreation products including: firearms and ammunition, outdoor cooking, optics, hydration systems and action sports accessories. He also gained extensive knowledge of both the commercial aerospace and defense industries while holding leadership positions at the Wencor Group and Exelis, Inc. In addition, Ben is an appointed member of the U.S. Department of State’s Defense Trade Advisory Group (DTAG).

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a MBA from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business.
